Sunday, July 25 - Southern Flavor & Coastal Views
What is on my mind this weekend? Brunch at Screen Door and the Dallas Museum of Art. I love southern food and am looking forward to the fried green tomatoes, shrimp and cheddar grits, biscuits and gravy and heavenly mint juleps. Sounds fabulous doesn't it? I am will be brunching with Sam, my favorite bartender from Hattie's. After maxing out our weekly intake of calories, we plan to spend the afternoon browsing the Coastlines Exhibit at the DMA. Over 50 paintings set to music and poetic writing. Sounds like the perfect way to finish off a long week.

Tuesday, July 27 - ½ Off All Good Café
It’s buy one entrée get one free at All Good Café in Deep Ellum. So ring up your friends and go share a home cooked meal - for the price of one! The dilemma will be picking which friend to treat! Don’t forget change for the parking meter.

Wednesday, July 28 - Hydrate and Run
Katy Trail is the perfect way to beat those mid-week blues. Start walking from Knox and aim to make it all the way to the finish line: AA Center. All your troubles will have melted away (literally!).

Thursday, July 29 - Mikki Mallow Mixer
This will be my first time to check out Mikki Mallow’s work. She will be on-site at The Wooden House on Henderson with her collection in tow. This little shop is quite amazing. Think one-of-a kind global imports. Owner Steven Brooks will have just returned from India and there is no telling what all sorts of lovely new things he will have brought back. Be the first to see the truck unload and perhaps fall for Mikki Mallow along the way.

Saturday, July 31 - Hepburn Movie & Cocktails
I will be moving next weekend. I am over the moon with excitement for this move! The new place has a pink bathroom. Need I say more? It reminds me so much of Holly Golightly’s chic little apartment that I have decided to call it “ The Hepburn”. Celebrate for me and spend the evening with your loved ones watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s (or some other fabulous Hepburn film). *Fancy cocktails, pink party dresses and pet masks are highly recommended.
